Engraving info:
We use a commercial laser engraver to make each piece. This carefully burns the design into the wood. Each piece of wood is different and can react differently to the burn based on the wood grain and personality of each board.
After your board is engraved, we condition it with butcher block conditioner - I recommend you condition your board with butcher block conditioner after every 2-3 uses to extend the quality of your item. You should also apply a mineral oil to your board anytime it looks dry. If the board will be used only for decoration, you should only apply mineral oil to the board every 3 months. Before food usage - apply a food safe wax to the board
